Chirped refractive microlens arrays
14.11.2008 - Photonik international 2/2008 |
[ deutsche Version lesen ]

Conventional microlens arrays consist of identical lenses arranged on an equidistant grid. By contrast, chirped arrays are composed of similar but non-identical lenses. In avoiding the limitations of the fixed arrangement of regular arrays, optical systems with improved integration and optimised optical performance are possible, with application fields ranging from imaging to laser beam shaping.
