Super-resolution videos and single-molecule microscopy of living cells

Super-resolution microscopy is quickly evolving. After the development of the STED microscope, future device generations could deliver videos of dynamic processes within living cells. Images with resolutions far better than 50 nm will be available using standard fluorescence microscopes.
