Laser-sintering: the shortest path from design to finished product

Laser-sintering represents a completely new concept for manufacturing components made of polymers and metals. Many of the limitations that trouble normal production methods are no longer an issue. Here the design influences the manufacturing process, which is commonly referred to as „design-driven manufacturing“. This process entails many additional possibilities and advantages that offer a freedom of design which was previously unknown, allowing for a significant reduction in production cycles.
