Effective 3D displays using large area lenticular arrays

The realisation of affordable and practicable 3D displays has seen significant advances recently with the appearance of custom, large area, lenticular arrays. These arrays provide the auto-stereoscopic function needed to preclude the requirement for viewing aids. Auto-stereoscopic multi-view displays can provide effective 3D perception for the geo-science, medical, prototype CAD design and entertainment fields.
