Polarisation simulation integrated with ray tracing

Specialized and elaborate polarisation devices have escaped the laboratory. In LCDs, for example, they are present in homes, offices, automobiles, and in many commercial settings. Optical design with polarisation components is expanding into new technology segments. In optical simulation, realistic polarisation modelling is becoming an important tool, enabling accurate virtual prototyping for successful innovations.
