Telecentric lenses for cameras with image sensor size larger than 1 inch

The perspective-free imaging of telecentric lenses makes them suitable for measurement tasks and for inspection of three-dimensional objects, as the image scale remains constant within the so-called ‘telecentric range’. For industrial machine vision, telecentric lenses have therefore been developed that are matched to individual image sensor sizes and are available over a wide range of image scales.
